Ronnie Scott's radio show for Jazz FM

Jazz FM has just announced the launch of a new weekly series, the Ronnie Scott’s Radio Show, which begins on 3 June. Presented by Jumoké Fashola, the jazz singer and broadcaster who has hosted BBC London’s Late Show and presented a number of radio shows at the club during its Brit-Jazz weeks, the show will broadcast every Friday from 10-11pm and will feature music from artists that have played the club during its 51 year history as well as interviews and tracks from the club’s archive of in-house recordings.


The first programme will feature interviews with Dee Dee Bridgewater and Madeleine Bell as well as tracks from Cannonball Adderley, Kurt Elling and Quincy Jones plus a regular slot, ‘Classic ‘59’, celebrating one of jazz’s landmark years.
