Jamie Cullum Photograph Competition 2011

‘It’s just another story caught up in another photograph I found’ - Jamie Cullum

The Photograph Competition was such a success last year that I'm happy to launch it again in 2011!

Here's was last year's winning photograph, as chosen by Jamie himself:

I'll make you a mixtape that's a blueprint of my soul. By @Remylx0 from the USA
Remylx0 won a personalised autograph and the following video message from Jamie!

Here's what to do: Choose a song title or one-line lyric by Jamie Cullum that means something to you and then represent that in a photograph you have taken yourself

Be as creative as you can!
Entries will be judged on originality, composition and relation to the song title/lyric you have chosen, rather than the quality of the photograph, though of course, it needs to be clear!  So you don’t need an expensive professional camera to take part, photos can be taken on a mobile phone if that is all you have.

There is no right or wrong entry! It is all about YOUR personal interpretation of a lyric. I am excited to see what you will all come up with!  I know there are many very artistic Cullum fans out there.
Don’t worry if your chosen lyric has already been submitted. You may also submit more than one entry! The song title/lyric can come from any JC cover aswell as an original JC song.
This contest is open to all Jamie Cullum fans worldwide.

All entries will be displayed here at All Things Cullum.
If you choose to include anyone in the photograph, be sure to get their permission first and all photos must be in good taste.
All entries should be sent via EMAIL ONLY to:
Please include your name and your country, as well as the song title or lyric your entry is based on. I will acknowledge receipt of all entries via email.
There will be prizes for the best 2 entries.

The winner gets ALL this:

The runner-up will receive:
  • Signed vinyl 'Dandelions' by Kaz Simmons
  • Poster from The Big Audition with Pizza Express

Huge thanks to all the artists involved! Click the links above to see/hear the messages from all these lovely people.

The winning photographs will be judged by Jamie Cullum HQ at Air Management and myself.

Closing date for entries is Friday December 9th.

Have fun and get snapping!
