Review: Jamie Cullum at Brasserie Blanc

Something special took place at the weekend at Brasserie Blanc, London. Nestled in the shadows of St Paul's, this exclusive restaurant played host to Martell Very Special Nights

Martell Cognac, the oldest major cognac house in the world, joined forces with legendary French chef Raymond Blanc and musician Jamie Cullum on Saturday for a wonderful evening of food, drink and music.
Cocktails, a delicious meal from Raymond's excellent team and plenty of cognac, was followed by an intimate after dinner set from Jamie.

Raymond gave quite a speech first before introducing Jamie to the stage, who responded by saying "That is the best warm-up act I've ever had!"

The place was buzzing, it was a fantastic atmosphere with the audience joining in and enjoying every moment. The set was short but sweet. Jamie had received several requests and chose to mash a few together, the highlight was the Leonard Cohen song Hallelujah. It was beautiful. Watch the video here
