Coming up on Jamie's radio show ... Archie Shepp

On the show on April 22nd, Jamie's guest is the American jazz saxophonist and composer Archie Shepp. The musician tells how his father inspired him to get into jazz in the early days through artists like Count Basie and Slim Gaillard.
Archie reminisces about making the first Attica Blues album and performing in the infamous Attica prison in the 70s. Lastly, he talks about re-recording the record today with artists such as Cecile McLorin Salvant.
